I went to the theater to see Zombieland. I wish I would of listened to you first about staying away. I assumed since Woody Harrelson was in it, it would be good. Too much comedy in a horror film for my tastes. Anyways, great podcast and I look forward to hearing more of your reviews. By the way, great recommendations so far, I like your thriller chiller picks part of the podcast.

Wonderful podcast, really entertaining and informative. I enjoy the quirky zombie movies like Zombieland but I myself are like you two and like the hard-nosed meat-eating scary zombie movies better.
The zombies probably didnt even make that much. A lot of the extras in films aren’t paid diddly. Great podcast!
Zombieland was a pretty unique zombie twist. I liked the acting but was turned off on stoppage of film when they were saying how to get away from the undead. Still was entertaining though.
Zombie movies are madly popular and the humor added has become a plus in todays standard, so I can see why movies like Zombieland are produced. I whole-heartedly agree with the hosts here in this podcast. DO NOT MIX COMEDY TONES INTO HORROR for all you writers out there.

I might be a little different than your average listener, but I like to know which movies stink, so I know what to avoid when buying Blu-Ray discs, they are expensive. Zombieland is now off my list. Keep up the great reviews!

awww i liked zombieland! i think its really funny. i don’t mind “horror-comedy”, it might be becasue i think that its more about the comedy the the horror! I don’t think that zombieland is ment to be scary, it is a comady!
I also quite liked the tips in the film bacause people in horror films usually really annoy me because they make stupied mistakes! Columbus(jessie)has alot of good tips and its nice to see the charters being smart about there environment! Not like the woman in the beginning of the film when she shoots the zombie and then pokes it with her foot! I mean really?! >.<
For me the tips where just nice! It reminds me of "dawn of the dead" because I agree with alot of there tactics! I'm rambling now! LOL sorry. I did like the film!

I think that you can't look at it as a horror because its not scarey! Its a comady set in a world full of zombies!
