The Horror Movie Show 0030: Mat Kister Discusses Outpost Doom
Episode 30 Podcast features an interview with Mat Kister an independent horror movie writer and director. Mat also runs one of the longest running horror podcasts on the net, Splattercast. His second film Outpost Doom is set to be released on DVD sometime in May.
Mat responds to a dozen questions about Outpost Doom including the basis of the story, creature effects, music and many other details about the movie.
The show is concluded with Mat discussing his latest work in a progress, a slasher film, he will start shooting this summer. Some sound clips were added which are pretty cool.

I love low budget indie films cause most of them bring something new to the table so I am very anxious to see the Outpost Doom. Your guest Mat sounds like a cool guy who is very honest and upfront about his work, so I will have no problem paying for the DVD when released. By the way, I love your interviews you have been throwing in now and then Horror-Guy and Gal, hopefully more to come soon.

Surprised Matt stated he didnt want us listeners to watch his first movie. Maybe a little too honest or he was not proud of his work. Outpost Doom must be much better as he speaks highly of it, so I might get it when the DVD is ready.
