Meogi-Go-Karate “Pat Morita” loved him when I was growing up in the Karate Kid movies, if he has a twin in the Mutant Vampire Zombies from the ‘Hood I definitely want to see that. Really like your podcast.

I went to the local cinema last weekend and was COMPLETELY disappointed with Splice, as were you two. Marketed as a “Monster Horror Movie” couldn’t of been further than the truth.
Waste of money, wish I would of got your deal Horrorguy!!!!!
These movies are wonderful, my type of horror I like, I do get a scary feeling and look away on the graphic parts, gives me a weak stomach, but love it nonetheless.
You were really looking for that hardcore violence. I guess I can understand that because it was advertised as having a lot of it.
Brody is what would be considered a A-list actor e.g. The Piano.
I agree. Great special effects.
Both of you wanted the Dren to be a killing machine. Why?
You guys pay 12 for the matinee? Wow. I pay 5.
Hello Film-Book thank you for commenting on the Splice review.
I pay $12 per ticket here locally, matinee price of $6.
I was assuming going into this movie that Dren was going to be a killing machine, especially how it was marketed as a scary horror movie. If the ads and campaign didn’t gear us up for that when walking into the theater, than I wouldn’t of been nearly as disappointed as I was.
They marketed the film the best way they could to get asses in the seats. It worked.
comedy-zombie-action cant ask for much more than that, llove the show guys!
Just watched the comedy-horror movie Mutant Vampires…..N The Hood and it was good and entertaining. Thanks for the heads up appreciate the ratings and glad I listened to this episode because all my friends totally loved that movie.
Got you on both on my Zune and iPod so I can catch all your shows. Loved this episode & will be renting or buying all these horror movies: Great work!
Your website is fantastic, easy to find all the content. I am impressed by the details amd audio that you have on this blog. It shows how well you comprehend the horror field. Now on to Splice; while I wouldn’t recommend it I found it entertaining. The story is by far not unque, but it does have some neat twists. Maybe not the best for a horror fan but a casual viewer might indeed like it.
Glad I missed the run at Splice at THeaters since you rated it just ok. Will probably get it on Dvd when it appears but not holding my breath.
