The Horror Movie Show 0060: It’s Time For Road Train

Episode 60 Podcast features another review of a currently airing theater movie called Devil which was produced by M. Night Shyamalan. The devil walks amongst us is the back story on this PG-13 film. Five people get stuck in an elevator and each one of them fears the unknown when individuals start to die in the cramped space.

The next horror movie discussed is one of the Fangoria FrightFest films called Road Kill. Two young couples are camping in the Austrailian outback when they come across a huge truck which apparently has a supernatural presence.

During the opening of the podcast and after the reviews, the hosts critique each others recommendations from previous episodes.

The Horror Movie Show 0059: The Whole Package

The show begins with a review of the fourth installment of Resident Evil, coined as Afterlife. This movie is currently playing in 3D at theaters everywhere. Milla Jovovich returns as Alice once more, in this horror movie adapted from the popular video game from CapCom. Only a few survivors are left and the group try to take down the corrupt Umbrella Corporation while dealing with gruesome zombies and searching for the safe zone known as Arcadia.

Next the hosts analyze a newly released BluRay called Feast, which was a 2005 HBO Project Greenlight film. “They’re hungry, you’re dinner” is the tagline and it is about a bunch of people get stranded inside a small town bar where there are monsters on the loose which want to eat them. The Horror Movie Show 0058: My Brain’s Not Big Enough

Episode 58 Podcast begins with a review of the highly anticipated Robert Rodriguez action-horror theatrical release of Machete, played by Danny Trejo. This movie has an allstar cast including Jessica Alba, Robert De Niro, Jeff Fahey, Steven Seagal and many others. A Mexican drug cartel and Texas senator team up together in the hopes of installing an electrified fence across the border in order to raise the profits of the drug trade, but one man and an underground network fights to stop the powerful conglomerates.

The second movie reviewed is an independent bizarre horror flick called Necromentia which was just released on DVD yesterday. Several stories inter-twine in this hellish tale where downright freaky demons are in search of troubled souls.

We conducted an interview with this super-nice woman, Marion Kerr, who is an actress and took on her first full length feature Golden Earrings, writing, directing and working on the film non-stop. Episode 57 Podcast is our monthly themed show for September. This time we have the hosts pick a movie they wanted to review that was released in the year 2000. There were only 44 horror movies released that year and you can check them all out on WikiPedia here.

DoctorHorror chose Dracula 2000 which stars a young Gerard Butler and Christopher Plummer playing Van Helsing. The HorrorGuy was next picking Reindeer Games, a horror-action flick starring Ben Affleck, Charlize Theron, Gary Sinise and a band of other great actors.
