Wooden human actors vs. computer-generated characters
Sadly, comparing Paul W.S. Anderson‘s latest sequel, Resident Evil: Retribution, and Japanese anime feature Resident Evil: Damnation, is a bit like comparing soft, mealy apples and mouldy, dry oranges. Neither is very palatable, at least according to Jerry & Mark, hosts of this here episode of The Horror Movie Show. Of course, fans of lovely Milla Jovovich will be delighted to see the ultra-skinny action hero back in her S&M gear. But the action is strictly from repeatsville.
Also on the bill is a discussion of the amusing Eddie the Sleepwalking Cannibal and Airborne, a flying ghost picture costarring the original Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill. The world will note that The Amazing Harpo, wheaten terrier extraordinaire, passed away quietly at home with her closest friends cuddling her, October 1, 2012. According to several sources, the five-year-old Harpo was reported to be the “world’s best dog” and “a very sweet, clever girl.” She is remembered by her many friends & large extended family. See you around, puppy, if we’re lucky.
