The Horror Movie Show 0050: Cutting Some Throats

Episode 50 Podcast features a special guest host joining us, one of our faithful listeners, Zach from Illinois. The show starts off with the review of a new BluRay release, Open House. The movie stars such actors as Brian Geraghty and Anna Paquin. A couple secretly enters residences for sale and soon starts killing whoever stops by.

The second movie rated and reviewed is the 2007 flick Planet Terror which was picked by the guest host. An ensemble of stars grace the screen including the chick from Charmed, Rose McGowan, plus several others like Freddy Rodriguez, Josh Brolin, Bruce Willis, Jeff Fahey, Michael Biehn and several others. A chemical bio-weapon gets released into the air of a small Texas town turning the locals into ravaging, zombie-like creatures. It is up to a group of uninfected people to thwart off the virus and save the town.

The Horror Movie Show 0046: Night Terrors

Episode 46 Podcast begins with a brief look back at the first two Twilight movies. This leads us to the review of Part 3 titled Eclipse that is currently playing at theaters everywhere. This vampire/werewolf love triangle continues and Jacob tries to convince Bella that he is the right man for her. During this dramatic tale Edward must keep his love safe from an army of newly turned vampires.

The second movie analyzed is Parasomnia starring Dylan Purcell, Patrick Kilpatrick and Jeffrey Combs. The DVD was just released yesterday and the story was written and directed by William Malone who is known for his job on the movie House On Haunted Hill. A mesmerist serial killer has control over a young woman who has a very rare sleeping disorder. When a geeky guy falls for her the battle between Byron Volpe and him comes to a head.

The Horror Movie Show 0017: Pimped Out Tire Iron

Episode 17 Podcast begins with the review of the highly anticipated release of The Wolfman starring Benicio Del Toro, Anthony Hopkins and Emily Blunt. Back in the early 1800′s a mysterious half-man, half-wolf creature ravaged and mutilated the locals, and it is up to a visiting New York man and Inspector to find out what is going on in this quaint English village.

The DVD review this week is on Sorority Row the remake of the 1983 classic The House On Sorority Row. The film centers around several sorority sisters who become pray for a vicious killer after a terrible prank goes awry. Rumer Willis the daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore holds her own in an excellent acting performance.
